All proceeds from this year’s Wine & Microbrew will support the school’s ongoing efforts to replace all of the athletic scoreboards with digital displays. Due to the generous donations from our families and community sponsors & the proceeds from last year’s Wine & Microbrew, we have already replaced the scoreboards in the Claver Center (gymnasium), the Waitt Aquatic Center and Manchester Stadium. We’ve also secured all required permits from the City of San Diego for the remaining digital displays to be installed.
Our focus for this year’s event will be to raise the remaining $800,000 still needed to replace the scoreboards with digital display scoreboards for the following:
- Lower Turf Field
- Lynch & Allred Tournament Field (Baseball Field)
- Softball Field
The upgrade of our scoreboards to digital displays has already shown a positive impact for our athletes, fans and guests when visiting the campus. From sporting events, school mass, assemblies, graduation ceremonies, diocesan staff training and more, the digital displays have enhanced the experience of all who have seen them. We are asking for your financial support of our 33rd Annual Wine & Microbrew Tasting and Auction.
