Transfer Applicant Eligibility
Applicant eligibility
- Transfer applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA with no “F” grades on their transcript.
- Students must be currently enrolled in an accredited school.
- Transfer students are accepted based on space availability. Cathedral Catholic High School cannot guarantee acceptance.
Cathedral Catholic High School adheres to CIF guidelines and regulations. Please refer to the CIF transfer eligibility rules for athletes.
Cathedral Catholic High School cannot guarantee eligibility for UC and/or college application purposes for course credits earned at another institution. It is the responsibility of the family to confirm course credit eligibility for UC/college application purposes with the previous school.
Students entering the 12th grade are typically not considered for transfer to Cathedral Catholic. Please contact the Office of Enrollment at (858) 523-4000 with questions about senior year transfers.

| November 15 | Student Life Showcase | Our Dons are blessed to have many opportunities to get involved, and you can learn about them at our Student Life Showcase! Join us on Saturday, November 16, from 9-11 am. Programs that will be featured include ASB, athletics, clubs, drama, honor societies, Mock Trial, music and robotics/engineering. The Office of Enrollment will also be hosting campus tours beginning at 9, 9:30, 10 and 10:30 am. Please RSVP. We hope to see you there! |

| February 14 | Supplemental Application Documents Due | Complete the student questionnaire, identification records, immunization records, transcripts and recommendations in the MySchoolApp. Transcript and recommendation requests are posted in the MySchoolApp on December 15, 2025. |
| February 15 | Tuition Assistance (FAIR) Applications Due | Complete FAIR APP. Please use the school’s code of 118 and password cchs118. |
| March & April | Student Interview | The Office of Enrollment will reach out to you to schedule a date for the student interview, once transcripts and recommendations have been received. Course placement is discussed during this meeting. |
| Rolling | Transfer Decisions Released | Decisions will be published in the MySchoolApp typically within two weeks following the student interview. Instructions for registering are included in the decision letter. |
| March 31 | Registration Deadline | Submit tuition agreement and $$500 tuition deposit. Once the tuition agreement and $$500 tuition deposit have been submitted, the school can reserve the student’s courses. |
- Spring semester transfer applications are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please call the Office of Enrollment for more mid-year transfer information.
- Fall semester transfers may apply at any time for enrollment until the end of May 2026. However, it should be noted that new students are enrolled on a space-available basis. Interested transfer applicants are encouraged to complete their enrollment paperwork according to the suggested deadlines or as soon as possible.
