☀️Dons’ Summer Highlights☀️Annie Mara ‘25 recently finished a program at the Aim High Flight Academy, a three-week flight course funded by the US Air Force! She was able to utilize full flight simulators and earn fifteen flight hours to put towards a pilot’s license. The course also included mentoring by Air Force ROTC members and cadets.

“I’m grateful for Mrs. Wells and Mrs. Kotva-Borwn for cheering me on during this process and for the Miles Christi priests for praying for me," Annie says. She is also happy that she was able to use the science and math skills that were learned at CCHS to help her through the program. After high school, Annie hopes to join the Air Force as a pilot and complete a degree in the science field.

Annie is on the Cathedral Catholic girls basketball and field hockey teams. She is also the president of the Rosary Club and is active in the Dons for Life and Crochet clubs. Furthermore, she enjoys being a school ambassador, participating in the co-ed Bible studies run by the priests and is a member of the National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation.
