Acceleration, Remediation and Summer Bridge courses are available during the summer for Cathedral Catholic High School students. Before committing to enrolling in courses throughout the summer, please read the Summer School Policy.

Registration Dates

Acceleration

  • Registration opens Friday, December 12, 2025
  • Registration deadline: Monday, March 2, 2026

Last day to withdraw from acceleration courses with full refund (except for $200 non-refundable processing fee): Friday, March 27, 2026.

All final exams will be held on-campus and in-person, on the last day of each summer semester, between at 9 am and 12 pm.


Remediation

  • Registration opens Monday, January 12, 2026
  • Registration deadline: Wednesday, June 10, 2026
  • Last day to withdraw from Remediation courses with full refund (except for $200 non-refundable processing fee): Friday, April 3, 2026
  • Payment plans must be fulfilled by Friday, June 12, 2026
    • All payment plans are final. 
  • Students not registered for the next school year will not be allowed to participate in Summer School. CCHS Summer School is for CCHS students only. Refund policies still apply. 

Summer Bridge

For incoming freshmen only.

Acceleration Courses Information

Acceleration courses are provided online to all current Cathedral Catholic High School students. Several of these courses have a Zoom component. Please read more information on the Acceleration program below.


Remediation Courses Information

Remediation courses are for current CCHS students who may have previously earned a D or an F in any class; The summer curriculum is designed to help students recover credits. Failures (F) are required to be remediated during summer school on campus before returning to school the following semester. D grades must be remediated for core classes that require a passing grade to continue to the next level.
