Liturgy

The Liturgy of the Eucharist is held Tuesday-Thursday mornings from 7:15-7:45 in the St. Thérèse Chapel. School-wide liturgies are held in the Claver Center at least once a month, including on all Holy Days of Obligation.

Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available Monday through Thursday by appointment. Students may email one of the school chaplains to schedule an appointment. All students also attend a yearly Lenten Penance Service during the school day. Cathedral Catholic’s school chaplains and diocesan priests support this sacramental opportunity and others as appropriate.

Prayer

The St. Thérèse Chapel is open and available before, during and after school for all members of Cathedral Catholic’s faith community. The beautiful chapel and serene garden areas are quiet spaces for contemplation and prayer. School chaplains hold weekly lunchtime bible studies and lead other prayer groups.

I love that as a Catholic I get to start each class with a prayer. Every time I see a classroom filled with teenagers who quiet themselves almost immediately, bow their heads and pray with me, my faith grows by leaps and bounds.

At Cathedral Catholic, every activity, from the large-scale retreats to the small group prayers, teaches me that God is protecting me wherever I go. Every aspect of the experience, such as the chapel, the on-campus priests, and the offering of religious clubs and service, allows me to constantly feel His presence and love. At Cathedral Catholic, I am able to freely practice my faith knowing that every single student, teacher and administrator is right there with me.

Cathedral Catholic has made me a better man of God by showing me how to implement Jesus' teachings in my daily life. Through this, I have grown closer to God every day, and for this, I am thankful to Cathedral Catholic, and especially the Miles Cristi priests on campus.

Cathedral Catholic played an integral part in my faith formation. At CCHS, my love for my faith blossomed and helped me grow spiritually, allowing me to become a better Catholic overall. Having the privilege of taking part in a loving, caring, supportive and vibrant community allowed me to focus on Cathedral’s mission of building the kingdom and living God’s call

Cathedral Catholic allowed me to explore my faith by providing opportunities of daily Mass, retreats and religion classes. Cathedral Catholic also fosters an overall environment that encouraged growth in my faith and service for others.

Being at Cathedral Catholic helped me grow in my relationship with God and find others who share the same passion for the Church. There are so many opportunities that helped me to live out my faith and celebrate the sacraments such as daily and all-school Masses, Dons for Life and small groups with the Miles Christi priests.
