Baccalaureate/Cultural Heritage Regalia vs Graduation/Academic Regalia

Caps and gowns are worn at Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation. Caps and gowns are already paid for in your tuition. Gowns are returned June 3rd. You may keep your cap and tassel.

Baccalaureate Mass – Cultural Heritage Regalia
Students are invited to wear cultural heritage regalia to Baccalaureate Mass with their cap and gown as a celebration of their heritage. This is not required.

Cultural heritage regalia could include a cord or stole that reflects the colors or flag of your heritage. Native Americans can purchase an extra cap from Jostens to bead for Baccalaureate Mass while keeping their graduation cap plain. Jostens is offering stoles and cords that reflect the colors/flags related to a heritage. Posies Floral will offer flower lei to Polynesian/Asian students. No other regalia will be allowed.

Jostens and Posies Floral are the recommended vendors. Their offerings are already approved by the administration. If you have another option you wish to submit for approval, please send the information to Christy Bailleul.
