FRESHMAN & SOPHOMORE PARENT/GUARDIAN COLLEGE INFORMATION MEETING –
The Freshman & Sophomore Parent/Guardian Information Meeting is a presentation hosted by our school counselors on short- and long-term planning, including academic and extracurricular involvement. Support programs will be also be discussed. No RSVP is necessary. For those unable to attend, the presentation will be posted to the “Presentations” link on the Counseling Office webpage.

Cathedral Catholic High School is working diligently to provide a safe and supportive environment for all our students. On March 24 – 27, Cathedral will host our annual Yellow Ribbon Week. Our mission for Yellow Ribbon Week is to raise awareness on topics of mental health and suicide prevention. Our goal is to educate students on these topics and provide available resources. Details of the week’s events will be coming soon.
Wellness Parent Coffee Chat: On Wednesday, March 25, the Wellness team will host a parent coffee chat at 8:15 a.m. in the Lecture Hall on the topics of mental health and suicide awareness including ways to support your student in difficult times. We look forward to seeing you there!

Colleges that Change Lives is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of a student-centered college search. Their programs are designed to offer students, parents, and counselors a new perspective on college admission, to address some of the misconceptions about college admission, and to help students connect with representatives from the CTCL-member colleges. Their college fair is free and open to the public.

Join Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Rice University and University of Chicago Sessions for an information session for prospective students and their families. Sessions include a brief overview of each institution, information on admissions and financial aid, and a chance to speak informally with admissions representatives.

CAL POLY SAN LUIS OBISPO CAMPUS VISIT-
A representative from Cal Poly SLO will be on campus on March 11th during lunch to meet with admitted seniors and prospective students in grades 11 and 12 to provide information and answer questions about the university. The meeting will be held in Assisi Hall 102. Seating is limited. Please email Mrs. Flynn by 8:00 a.m. on March 11th to register to attend.
High School Laptop Scholarship Contest
