Junior Receives Award of Excellence at Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders

Fernanda Name ’19 represented Cathedral Catholic High School and the State of California at the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders in Boston, Massachusetts this past summer.

Fernanda was presented with an official Award of Excellence, certifying her successful completion of Congress.  Fernanda was surrounded by many fellow high school students who share her passion, ability, and potential.  Fernanda was personally taught by some of the greatest living minds in science and technology – winners of the world’s most prestigious international prizes, such as the Nobel Prize in Physics and the Presidential National Medal of Science.  The inventor of the Ethernet, Robert Metcalfe, PhD, was one of the presenters.   To learn more about the Congress of Future Science and Technology Leaders, watch a 3-minute highlight film at www.scitechleaders.com.
