Our Dedicated Don was chosen because of his extraordinary work with the Outreach for Nazareth Orphanage or as it’s better known, the OFNO club, where he is the president. This club brings roughly 20-30 students to the orphanage quarterly to work on service projects that maintain the orphanage, and fill in to help the staff with tasks they need to keep everything running smoothly. Our Dedicated Don is instrumental in organizing these trips that serve those in need and helping our own students to grow by serving others.
Not only has he worked to coordinate these trips, but this Dedicated Don also recently filmed a video in conjunction with OFNO and San Diego District Attorney, Summer Stephan, to help publicize the risks and dangers of human trafficking in our community.
And last year he gave up part of his vacation to work at Nazareth Farm in West Virginia on a CCHS immersion trip where students helped to repair homes in Appalachia.
Please join with me in congratulating Matthew Kirven ’20 for all of his hard work putting his faith in action.
