Racial Awareness Formation

“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.”
James Baldwin

Cathedral Catholic High School is committed to anti-racism work.  As a Catholic school, we have a moral obligation to uphold the dignity of every human person and to teach that racial prejudice is incompatible with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This page is a work in progress.  Included on this page are resources, programs, networks, and possibilities for engaging in the self-reflection and action necessary for taking part in dismantling the structures supporting systemic racism.  We invite you to join us in this work.

Please reach out to our principal, Dr. Calkins, if you have questions, concerns, or suggestions for the school to consider.
