Cathedral Catholic CaresWho Are We?CathedralCares consists of a committee of parents who work with the administration and staff to research and select qualified speakers for student body assemblies at least twice a year. CathedralCares also arranges and secures special presentations and speakers to address the parents of our students on topics of concern to our school family. In addition, CathedralCares supports the campus SADD Club (Students Against Destructive Decisions) a national student organization promoting peer-to-peer education and activism dedicated to preventing destructive decisions, particularly underage drinking, other drug use, risky and impaired driving. CathedralCares spearheads a “Parent Pledge” program at the beginning of each school calendar year. Those parents signing the Parent Pledge are pledging that anytime they host a student gathering in their home, they will ensure the students do not drink, smoke, or use drugs, and will be present to actively chaperone. All families that submit a signed Parent Pledge will be acknowledged with an asterisk (*) in the 2009-2010 CCHS Directory and on the CCHS Website under the CathedralCares link. Parent's Pledge Confirmation Form Mission StatementThe purpose of CathedralCares is to work with both faculty and parent representatives in the development of programs that promote the physical, mental, and spiritual well-bring of our student community. Through a series of speakers and events, we assist Cathedral Catholic High School in providing education regarding contemporary issues that affect our students and their families.
