Campus Ministers promote “finding yourself” in Freshman Retreat
The theme of the Freshman Retreat, as it as been in previous years, was “Let My Gifts Change the World." Yet, this year, the Campus Ministry Retreat decided to step up and use their gifts to make this one of the most exciting and eventful retreats we’ve seen at Cathedral for the freshman class.

Girls Golf Wins Western League Title
Girls Golf Team beats La Jolla for the Western League Championships.
Surf Team Wins Medals in Competition
The surf team had an extraordinary day last Saturday, October 25. They beat Westview High School by a score of 70 to 63. All of our kids surfed great in the team vs team component of the competition.
Bus Driver Wanted
We are looking for an individual with a Youth Bus Driver Certificate to drive students to different service locations in the San Diego area on a part-time basis in the CCHS 35 passenger bus.
Confirmation Preparation Programs for High School Students
As the academic year is underway, Catholic parishes are beginning Confirmation preparation programs for high school students. Most parishes suggest that teens begin their preparation programs during freshman or sophomore year, but welcome juniors and seniors as well.

After School Tutoring Available
After school tutoring is available in the USDHS library. Monday is peer tutors only. Tuesday – Friday is both peer tutors and college tutors. Tutoring is on a walk-up basis. The tutoring occurs 2:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. and on Friday 2:15 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
