AquaticsPhysical Education 1932 Foundations of Aquatics and Lifeguard Training This class is an introduction into the foundations of swimming. This class will emphasis safety in swimming, beginning skills, introduction to stroke technique and game competition in team and individual sports. This class will lead to certification in lifeguard training and CPR for the Professional Rescuer for students who successfully meet all requirements. Physical EducationPhysical Education/Lifetime Wellness 921, 931 and 941 Semester Grades 9-12 (Boys and Girls) Students will be introduced to the history, rules, skills, and strategies of a variety of team sports. Students will also participate in aerobics, fitness testing and activities, weight training, and conditioning. This course seeks to enhance lifetime wellness through physical performance and cooperative learning. |
