History of Christianity

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Students will study the historical circumstances of how Christianity started and evolved.  Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of Church History by being able to identify key people, events, and places that have made such an important impact on Church History.  Students will come to an understanding of how Jesus is both human and divine, the importance of the early followers of Jesus during the Roman Empire, and the development of Christianity to the present by investigating theological, social, political, and moral changes over time.
