JANUARY
January 28th - January 2012 SAT Testing Date

FEBRUARY
February 2nd (6:30 PM-8:30 PM) - Junior/Sophomore Parent College Information Meeting
Junior and Sophomore Parents, the Counseling Office will be holding a Junior/Sophomore Parent College Information Meeting on Thursday, February 2nd, in the Guadalupe Center Theatre. Counselors will give a presentation on the first steps in the college application process. A "CCHS College Admissions Guide" will be given to all junior parents, and sophomore parents are invited so that they can hear the information about what is coming up for their students in their junior and senior years for college admissions.
February 10th - March 2012 SAT Registration Deadline

February 11th - February 2012 ACT Testing Date
The ACT is available on this date.
February 15th - Junior Registration Forms Distributed
Counselors will be meeting with junior students in group meetings to go over everything they need to know to register for classes for their senior year. Following these group meetings, students will meet with their counselor individually to go over their class selections.

February 29th - Sophomore Registration Forms Distributed
Counselors will be meeting with sophomore students in group meetings to go over everything they need to know to register for classes for their junior year. Following these group meetings, students will meet with their counselor individually to go over their class selections.
February 29th - Cal Grant GPA Verification Form Deadline
Senior Students, today is the last day to turn in your Cal Grant GPA Verification Form to the Counseling Office. Cal Grant GPA Verification Forms are available to fill out in the Counseling Office, and it is a very simple process (you will need to know your Social Security Number). If you are applying to a college or university in California and plan to file the FAFSA, please come to get your form, complete it, and return it to the Counseling Office by this date, as the Counseling Office needs to verify your GPA and submit it electronically for you through the California Student Aid Commission's WebGrants system. Remember, many schools in California require students to file a FAFSA and the Cal Grant Form even if they aren't requesting financial aid. Please also note that FAFSA submissions for 2012-2013 can be made at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
MARCH
