Sophomore Retreats

How do you live the call God has given you to be a disciple of Christ?  The Sophomore retreats focus on how God has called each one of us to be a disciple and follow Him.  God calls each one of us in a different way. Think about how you began to discover your gifts during your Freshman retreat and now how God may be calling you to respond by using those gifts to be the best Christian you can be.  Ultimately God calls us to be in a relationship with Him and although we make take different paths, as long as God is the center of your life, He will continue to unfold the path for your life and give you the desires of your heart.

During your retreat, you will be using icons as the focus of your base groups and prayer/meditation. The icon for this retreat is that of Jesus calling the Apostles to go out and spread the Good News, as each of us is also called. Each base community (small group) will be assigned an icon of an Apostle or Prophet.
