Senior Retreats

The Senior Class retreat theme is "Veni Sancte Spiritus" (Come Holy Spirit). As the culminating retreat of your High School experience, we will be focusing on how the Holy Spirit has been working in your life and will continue to as you go forth from CCHS.  You are challenged to look back on your faith journey, recognizing you are called to embrace and learn from the past as well as let it go so that the Holy Spirit may freely move within you. Think of your Frosh retreat when you reflected on your gifts and talents, then your Sophomore retreat where you examined how you are called to be a disciple of Christ, and then your Junior retreat where you focused on building the Kingdom of God. Now as a senior, take time to recognize God's ever-presence in your life. The Holy Spirit has given us many "fruits" and "gifts" that you will continue to use the rest of your life. We hope that every senior takes the opportunity to go on one of these retreats. Please see contact information below if you have any questions.

Information

There are 2 senior retreats this year and they are optional. Students must sign-up for the retreat they wish to attend. Each retreat is limited to 80 participants. The deadline for both retreats is Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Students may only participate in one retreat.

The Senior Class Retreat is held off campus at Palomar Christian Conference Center located on Palomar Mountain. This retreat will leave CCHS after the opening retreat liturgy(after school) and return to CCHS roughly at the time and date indicated. All meals are provided. All seniors are broken into small groups of roughly 6 students which are lead by student campus ministers.

Each form of this application needs to be returned to the Library by January 11, 2012 in order to ensure a spot on one of the retreats.

• Absence from Class Form
  Students should have this form filled out and submitted to the CM Center no later than a week prior to the retreat. This form does not need to be submitted to hold a spot on the retreat.
• Senior Retreat Covenant
  Must be signed and returned to the library by January 11, 2012
• Senior Retreat Information Form
  For information only. Does not need to be signed and returned.
• Senior Retreat Medication Form
  Must be filled out by student, and signed by parent, for all students bringing any type of medication to the retreat.
• Senior Retreat Permission Slip
  Must be signed and returned to the library by January 11, 2012.
