Junior Retreats

The Junior Class retreat theme is "Build the Kingdom".   How do you live and realize God's Kingdom among us now? The retreat focuses on how we can build the kingdom through our actions - living out the Spiritual and Corporal Acts of Mercy.  How can we emulate Christ and continue to build the kingdom, as He once did while He walked the earth?

This retreat is an important part of your Junior Year as you focus on your class unity and continue to recognize how important our faith commmunity is.  For three days and two nights, we take off to the mountain to "retreat" in hopes of growing in our relationship with Christ while getting to know some of your classmates on a more personal level. We hope that every Junior takes the opportunity to attend one of these retreats. You will only be missing two days of school and it is an opportunity that you don't want to miss!

Information

There are 2 Junior class retreats this year and they are optional. Students must sign-up for the retreat they wish to attend. Each retreat is limited to 80 participants. The first students with permission slips submitted will be allowed to attend the date they have chosen. There is a strict deadline date for this retreat, one week prior to departure (unless it has already filled). Students may only participate in one retreat.

The Junior Class Retreat is held off campus at Camp Whispering Winds near Julian.  All meals are provided.  Juniors will be randomly broken up into small groups of roughly 6 students, which will be lead by student campus ministers.

Retreat Application Forms

The retreat forms may be downloaded below or students may pick up an application in the Campus Ministry Center, de Sales Hall 103.

Each form of this application should be returned to the Campus Ministry Center as soon as possible, and no later than the registration deadlines, to ensure a place on the retreat.
