Athletic ClubThe Dons' Athletic Club was developed in 1997 to be a parent organization that financially supports the Cathedral Catholic High School Athletic Department. The Club supports the athletic programs through membership, and fundraising opportunities throughout the calendar year. Each year the Athletic Club supports over 30 sports, 78 teams and 1200 students, that annually participate in athletics. While the annual operating budget covers the day to day activities of the team, the Athletic Club proceeds takes care of post season awards, and Championship Banners that our teams receive every year. In addition to the postseason awards, the Athletic Club has financially supported the Athletic Department through the past purchases of athletic equipment, vans, and facilities enhancements. The Athletic Club has four levels of membership. Each level will have a corresponding membership package that will include, two adults passes for home football, and basketball games, as well as Don's Club Athletic gear. All fee's derived from these proceeds assist our student athletes. The "Century Club of San Diego", sponsors the Annual "SOS Campaign" (Support Our Schools), that allows CCHS to sell Farmers Insurance Open Golf tickets to the public. The tickets are sold for $17.00 each, and the school keeps $15.00. Monies collected for this event will go directly back to the students' sport. Becoming a member of the Athletic Club helps supports our student athletes. The students have a direct benefit from your generosity, whether it is from a direct financial contribution, participation in our fundraising events, or using your talents to assist in the several events that the Dons Athletic Club puts on. Our Cathedral Catholic High School student athletes, and the Athletic Department thank you for your continued generosity, and support during the 2011-2012 school year. GO DONS! Supporting CCHS Athletics ProgramsMembership Revenues support all 78 Don's Sports Teams providing for each team's season awards, and League and CIF banners and awards. The annual Athletic Department budget covers the regular season expenses, and the Don's Athletic Club membership revenues help cover each team's post-season expenses. All Don's Athletic Club fund raising and social activities-Snack Bar, 21st Annual Wine & Microbrew Tasting, and Annual SOS Campaign need volunteers to make them both a reality and a success.
