Our journey to Rome
and Assisi is not a "trip," but a pilgrimage. In this sense,
we will be spending time walking the footsteps of Francis and Clare,
but also mindful that the journey itself is as important as the places
we visit. Mass will be celebrated daily, we will stop at holy sites
for prayer and meditation, and focus on the other pilgrims who have
joined us in our journey. We will be lead by members of the Franciscan
order, who will be our guides not only to the points of historic interest,
but also spiritual interest. These pilgrim leaders will are familiar
with Italy and speak Italian. It is like have a 24/7 tour guide with
you the whole time.
